Welcome to Taste Local Eats! I'm thrilled to introduce you to our family-owned business that started with a simple idea of introducing artisanal food products from small, local businesses to the people of our community.

My name is Ann Vaughan, and before Taste Local Eats, our focus was on walking food tours of downtown Kennett Square, PA through our sister business Taste Kennett Food Tours. When we had to pause the food tours in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, we didn't let that stop us from supporting our local community. We pivoted to offering curated boxes of ready-made food items from downtown Kennett Square, PA restaurants and businesses to support them during their shut down. The community purchased these boxes enthusiastically and an idea was born! These boxes were delivered directly to homes of community members living within a ten-mile radius of downtown Kennett Square by our family members and several of our friends.

The enthusiastic community response to our boxes inspired us to reach out to additional local small businesses located throughout Southern Chester County, PA and Delaware. Our mission is to promote the concept of shopping and supporting local while at the same time raising money for non-profits and organizations and celebrating local communities throughout the greater Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

At Taste Local Eats, we have launched our business with 100% focus on supporting small and family-owned businesses and celebrating local communities. We believe that by supporting local businesses, we can help build a more vibrant and sustainable community.
